Each year, the Habitat ReStore diverts over 1 million pounds of waste from landfills when people donate their unwanted items to our store. This Earth Day, we are teaming up with Junkluggers for a FREE E-Waste collection event to help get your spring cleaning off and running. Bring your old laptops, cellphones, printers, small appliances, almost anything with a plug that’s been creating clutter in your house and they’ll properly recycle it for free! Please note that we cannot accept any CRT or old-style TVs or monitors at this event.

One of the best parts of going through old things is looking back on the memories you’ve made. At Habitat for Humanity of Chester County, our mission is to help hardworking families struggling to pay high rent costs for poor living conditions, create new memories in safe, quality, affordable homes.

Now, YOU can be a part of helping Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families. When you contribute to the Home is the Key Campaign you are helping to build quality homes that families can fill with happy memories. From witnessing first steps to celebrating graduations, YOU can make it possible for more families to experience life’s special moments in their new Habitat Home.

Thank you for making it possible for more families to unlock the key to their future.

While you’re spring cleaning, see if there’s something you can donate to the ReStore! Gently used items donated to the ReStore do so much more than free up space in your home. Those items:

      • Are sold through the ReStore and all the money goes towards building affordable houses for families in need
      • Are saved from going into landfills and creating more unnecessary garbage that we already have too much of
      • Have a second shot at life, to be turned into something beautiful or for someone else to enjoy
